Installed Linux!

I have an old crusty mac. I still really like the thing, and I haven't given it up to the recycle angels yet. It can't run iOS very well anymore, but I though it could be good for a Linux install. I gave it a try about a year ago with a Raspberry Pi version of Linux, but I didn't find it all that useful or friendly looking.

So after reading things on my new favourite federated social media (Mastodon) I came across some education posts about repurposing old computers and using Linux Mint. I though it might be worth the time to try. Mint looked pretty good, and works with a fair bit of software.

The install was really smooth, other than an issue with the wireless network. A few toggle flips, and button presses and it's all good now.
